Instead of a PS4 or X1.

Before you rich people coming in saying you'll just buy them each system.....

Lets say just say you only buy them one console a year so they would miss out on everything the other two had to offer from last year and this year and next year until they get the new system.

edit....and no return option :)

Only one console per year? What a monster of a parent.

My 6 year old is already asking for a gaming pc, complaining it's my laptop's fault Minecraft mods keep crashing the game. They both only play Minecraft and PvZ garden warfare on ps4. The younger one still likes the WiiU, anything Mario and Lego and Toy story 3 on ps3. They would be most happy with another iPad, not gonna happen. They are spoiled enough.

I don't think they would be unhappy about a WiiU if we didn't have one already. They love the gamepad. They can play any time and watch their own shows on it. I love it too that they can't take it into their room.

I've forbidden my kids to even ask me about MC mods anymore - there's only so much you can put together until it all starts to fall, and there's no end to their persistance in finding new mods. Luckily, my wife doesn't allow them to use her rig, so at least I have to worry only about one computer.

Now they've rediscovered Spore (they haven't played that in at least 2 years), so they're pestering me about mods for that.

Of course, I get questions like "when we're buying another computer so we can play MC together?" almost on daily bases.

First if they are old enough on what they want. And I can afford it why not. But since their dad is a gamer. It is a family console and only available over the weekends and Friday night for them.

They'd probably set the house on fire, those little dildos.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

Yes, I should have thought it through a little better. On PC it's 90% picking mods, waiting for downloads, reinstalls, trying to get it to run, play for 5 to 10 minutes and then the whole process starts over again. On PS4 they actually play together, build stuff and act out their fantasies in splitscreen. On PC it's how does this work, I can't morph, it crashed again, why does it take so long to load, what else can I play. Exhausting.

I should have known better. There were no mods when I was 6 (nor PCs to run them on lol) yet before my wife and I had kids, our friend's kids used to come over to play lan Unreal tournament. It was no different with them, always selecting characters and different modes and levels. Same in racing games, the car select screen got the most attention, it drove me crazy. Are you actually going to play or just browse stuff.

I'm gonna breed Nintendo fans. So no, they will not be upset. They'll play what I tell them to play

I wanted a nes like my friend and got a second hand mastersystem and loved it.

If your kids can't be grateful to get a video game system, no matter what the system, then you've failed instill a sense gratitude in them. On a more practical note both my kids are very young so Nintendo has the only games I would let them play anyways. Also if your kids really wanted a different system and you were an aware parent you would know it.

Check the link below. (note to Admins: it's not really porn please don't ban me!)

i would get them what would make them unhappy on purpose so they learn the value of having something when others have nothing.

Better not be, when I was a kid I was happy to get any system/games, I have fucking bass hunter 64.
