*Dumb double posting. Please reomove.*

I haven't got the game since I didn't really get into Arkham City, but I did read online about the Arkham Knight reveal.
I was really, REALLY hoping that it would be Hush. Kinda sad they went the route they did.
P.S> I feel stupid that I don't know how to spoiler tag.

I actually like the Batmobile stuff. It was everything else that was the problem. 3 levels in the entire game and the first one isn't until half way through and makes you go back cause they ran out of time to make a proper game. Combat is very stagnant and all the variations are thrown at you early on which makes things more tedious than the Batmobile. Predator challenges are borderline terrible in this game. It's literally faster to just brute force your way through by fighting. No boss fights as mentioned (Good ones anyways). They didn't get Dini to write so you have a very good plot utterly destroyed by poor writing. Great game, but its a very sloppy thrown together game. There's little infiltration and absolutely no difficulty progression. Sad to see the series decline the way it did all because of the mainstream "open world" business. A shame cause if they had the time they could have made something amazing.

I was personally never a fan of Rocksteady's asset allocation and resource management. They had one person spend three years on essentially perfecting Batman's cape, and there's no reason for the Batmobile to take up THAT much detail in this game. It just always seemed wasteful to me, as if Rocksteady couldn't get over their gluttony.
That all said, to each his own; I have friends who adore the franchise, and I'm not gonna sit here and say it's bad because of those things. I will say the stories kind of deteriorated over each subsequent game, but that's it really.
You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt! I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading. After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!
I like each subsequent game less and less, and although I can't see myself disliking this game as much as Origins, I really don't care enough to find out.
That's a shame. I normally agree with you lewis on opinion of certain games. I haven't finished the game yet, but from what I played, it is a step-down from the others. The prequels set the bar too high. Hell even Origins was awesome mainly because of the second half.
The batmobile being forced in literally every mission gets tiring; it would've been better if they saved it on special occassions or introduced it later on in the game. I mostly roam the city without it.

No, because they show you how many you have to defeat before advancing. I loved Goldeneye
It was my 1st batman game and to me it was a rock solid 9/10. That said, had played all of them its possible I would have enjoyed this less.
psn- tokila
add me, the more the merrier.
I've played the other Batman games and this one narrowly edges out Arkham Asylum as the best one. Yeah, the tank battles are needlessly repetitive but the game was just so damn fun overall. Great ending too. 9/10 for me.
I agréé disappointing, boss fights are an insult to some bosses ( poor Deathstroke )
