Probably not. I mean...Andrew Jackson beat somebody.

As for this round of candidates;

I like Bernie Sanders, he doesn't bullshit and I like a lot of his ideas. But he's just too liberal for America.

Hllary Clinton is pretty moderate and obviously has the Clinton name behind her. But she just isn't likable, at least not to me.

Jebb Bush is going to spend this whole campaign trying to make sure nobody ties him to his brother. He will likely end up being the republican candidate for president though.

Trump is an idiot who is only popular right now because he's making a big fuss and has managed to snag the super-conservative crowd for the moment. Democrats should hope to god that he wins the republican nomination because it would pretty much guarentee another democratic president.

Hey, Andrew Jackson got shit done, of course most of said shit was the wholesale slaughter or outright removal of the United States' indiginous people, but still, he was damn good at it.  Though really, human rights violations aside, his presidency was rather sound.

I'm not american (despite the flag on my avatar. yeah, I know), but the US president is nominally the most powerful person in the world, so the vote affects everyone on this planet one way or another, so I do keep a closer look on how it unfolds. The primaries are the most difficult to follow as pretty much nothing gets broadcasted overseas (unless it's a huge gaffe), so I'm not really up-to-date with all the potential candidates.

Still, if I would live in the US, my vote would probably go to a third party if available in the respective state, most probably either Jill Stein (Green Party) or Roseanne Barr (Peace and Freedom Party). Unless I'd live in a critical swing state, in which case my vote would go for the democrat. Not much to pick yet, but anything is better than to what the GOP has devolved.

Good times for standup comedy, that's all the presidential role is good for anyway.

Out of curiosity, what is the problem with Bernie Sanders? I don't follow politics as close as I could (in general it seems like a bunch of rich people playing Balderdash to see who can come up with the most believable lie), however, from the quotes I've seen and online political compatibility tests, he seems to be a pretty strong candidate (ignoring his chances).

He is. He believes a lot very European things (universal health care, free public college, ect.) And he really is a no bullshit guy. He says what thinks no matter who it upsets.

But as I said, he's way too liberal for American tastes.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Jackson dismantled the second reserve bank of the US, don't knock him.

And Sanders is younger than Reagan was when he won 2nd term correct?

with ted cruz, rand paul, and paul walker in the race, i would say its in fact the best group of candidates we've had in decades.

and although, trump is a blow hard, and probably a crony capitalist. he is speaking the truth about immigration, which is why he's catching flak, because he's over the target. the left gets infuriated by the truth.

The Republicans have a ton of great candidates. The Democrats...not so much.

You make it sound like you have no clue why Clinton is not on television. Do you not realize that she deleted governmental documents (Emails). Then she lied that everything was handed over! You and me would be thrown in jail for committing a crime like that. Not to mention that this is conspiracy against the United States government. Nobody saw those deleted emails, and therefore could only be thought of as malicious in nature.

Bernie Sanders is so far communist it is unbelievable. Go ahead and vote for a guy who wants to take 90% of your paycheck out in taxes!
