that NPD numbers are retail copies only right. of course, digitally it won't reach 500k. i would say around 800k LTD for Bayonetta 2 would be good.

I'm guessing it's more like 500k WW to date. Here's just hoping "Bayonetta 2" hits the current VGC estimate in its lifetime.

I wish Nintendo was still pushing "Devil's Third" in the States. A limited edition red Wii U "hardcore bundle"/gamer's bundle with "Bayo 2" and "Devil's Third" could have crushed a small shipment of 100-200k and given a decent boost to the visibility of both of these games.

You know what would drive sales of Bayonetta 2?

Bayonetta being added to Smash Bros. That would see some exposure and naturally a small burst of sales for it. I, too, am one of the people that wants to see it top 1+mil lifetime because the game absolutely, ABSOLUTELY deserves to sell into the 7 digits!
