For as long as the PS4 has been out, and the PS Vita handheld reduced to being just a glorified accessory for it, people have wondered when Sony would just stop pretending, and start bundling the Vita with each new PS4 sold. And, well, I guess that has finally happened? Sort of, anyway.

For a limited time, it appears as though all PlayStation 4 1TB consoles will be bundled with the PlayStation TV, the Vita based microconsole that lets you extend your PS4 across the house via Remote Play, and also lets you play your Vita games on the big screen. It’s not as good as getting an actual Vita handheld, but hey, the PlayStation TV lets you play Persona 4 Golden, and it lets you play it on the big screen- what more could you want?

It sounds like a good enough deal to me- especially since you have to pay nothing extra. Plus, again, this way you get the PS4, and you get access to the best game ever made via the PS TV. Why would anyone complain?

Well that's one solution for Ps classic backwards compatibility among other things.

That's like getting a Kinect bundled with an Xbone. Extra plastic that nobody wants or will use.

Those bundles are the perfect example why PS Vita is undertracked on this site and that PS Vita has already reached 13M sold!

Except the kinect added $100 to the price, meanwhile the PS TV doesn't add anything to the cost of the PS4 . Though if the bundle only comes with a PS TV ( and No PS TV games ) it's even more worthless than the kinect ( without spending extra ).

Id much rather have a PS TV than a Kinect unit.

Cant remember when but yeah... there was a thread about it, and the conclusion was more or less PS Vita was more than 1million undertracked by here.

First part false... PSTV can't even play Netflix. Puh.....leeeeez. May the Sony Gods rain down thunder on you for even saying that about the PS4.

Second part 100% true. Everything is better than Xbone.
