Forums - Sony - New Vita Game Announcements Need to STOP.

Kind of ironic that a lot of people on gaming forums agree that third party studios shouldn't waste their time on the Wii U because the userbase is too low, but I never see people question why the Vita gets so much third party support.

Because on Vita at least, 3rd party sell well

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

Monster Hunter and Yo-kai Watch probably outsell 50% of the Vita library combined.

Pretty stupid comparison, Yokai Watch would sell as much on Vita. And we're talking about WiiU and Vita

Lol, no it wouldn't (the fact that it won't release on the Vita is enough evidence for that). I'm talking about Vita third party support, that should go to the 3DS instead.

Your point was why Wii U hasnt as much third party support than Vita, i explained you, simple.

I actually only bought the Vita for digimon(coming to PS4 though...) but then I found a TON of interesting JRPG games, also bought the PS TV to play on the big screen and I've been hooked playing on the vita for a while now.My only complaint would be the really visible jaggies while playing on the TV, but that's understandable considering the games weren't inteded to be played that way.

I think the mayor reason for devs devs supporting the vita, is the difference in power between both handhelds, the two screen design might also get in the way of the 3DS on getting that support since the design looks outdated nowdays. This might just be me though , but I bet that if Nintendo released a stronger hadheld with a conventional design, it would get most of that support in a year or less.

While it is nice, 6 months ago, it was looking like Vita's final year. Good thing it isnt though.

I'm liking it, but owning a PS4, there's no huge reason for me to own a Vita since many of the games I'm interested in on the Vita are being ported over to the PS4 and I prefer playing on a TV. Still, it's good for those who would rather play on a handheld and enjoy the kind of games the Vita is getting.

I like the logic here. So Yokai watch and Monster Hunter aren't on Vita because 3rd parties know they wouldn't sell. But the 3rd parties should be putting games on 3DS even though you just implied developers release their games on platforms they will sell better on.

BTW, a Monster Hunter on Vita would sell better than 99% of 3DS 3rd party releases. Look at God Eater.

This Vita release schedule is a joke. I decided in early 2014 I was going to get every physical English language release expecting the likes of Danganronpa to be the last titles for the system. There have been more releases and announcements since then than there have been previously! Square Enix have more games in development ATM than they phave published to date. Crazy!
