i would say 10 years in prison. what is just 2 years going to do to him, and people arent going to be scared of just 2 years so it will just happen again

He caused millions of dollars in damages. The punishment should be the same as if he did that destruction in any other way. 5-10 years in prison, at least.

Well he was only 16 or 17 when he comitted the crime. And he didn't do it himself, he was part of a group. 

And it did show that MS and Sony's systems weren't strong enough. It took MS a full day to fix it and Sony took a couple of days.

2 years prison would be fair for the amount of damage he caused. 2 years suspended prison is a fucking joke and an invitation for more attacks.
