By what Ali_16x said the more is more at 4+ by what he listed, still small, but still something, which shows the point, small random spin-off goes to Nintendo usually, main goes for Sony,   I'm only saying the opposite occurs for Draon Quest.

Though as I also said that is not always the case, GBC, GBA, and PS3 demonstrate that, and if you want to call remakes not main ones, then the 3DS is also sign of that.

@Hynad:  We do not know if Horii believes in that and will follow suit, so without knwoing what he thinks that is irrelevant.  And that is what I said, well in a way, because the argument has always been that Dragon Quest goes to the console with the highest install base in Japan, which at the moment seeing DQXI is for a home console, the one with the highest install base in Gen 8 is Wii U, so going by the pattern that would be the console in which the game will release.

It will be no worries. SE are setting up making DQ11 a successi n the West (or they are trying to).

I understand these gernes appeal to Japan, but they also appeal to the West. Getting people behind the DQ brand, even partially, with an action game and a MC game will do well for DQ11. The 3DS remakes getting localisations (it seems) will only furthuer that cause. 

There is no way they are bringing a DQ title to PS4 and not giving it a Western release imho. 

And now the Dragon Quest series is going back to Sony, so I'm not sure how that helps your case. If Dragon Quest XI was a handheld game, yeah it'll be on Nintendo but it's not.

Dragon Quest VII, VIII, X, Terry's Wonderland, Monsters 2, and Slime Mori Mori were all on the 3DS. Does that mean Horii lied and DQXI is actually going to the 3DS? I guess, according to you, maybe!

........What in the world are you talking about? I'm not sure what you're even trying to get at. I'm saying if they said Dragon Quest XI was going to be a handheld then of course we all know it would be for the 3DS. There wouldn't be a debate.

You guys seem to think that Square Enix only makes Dragon Quest now, they make a lot of games, and if you haven't noticed yet, a lot of the niche games are exclusive to Sony, and DQXI will be do different, and as I've said before in 19 years total, Square Enix has released barely any games on Nintendo consoles(not talking about handhelds), literally the only big game they've released on Nintendo consoles is Dragon Quest X, and that was on Wii which was doing amazingly well but the Wii U is doing horrible. And the rest of the games released on Nintendo consoles, around 5 in total were spin-offs. Around 6 games for Nintendo consoles in a total of 19 years, and you guys really think they're going to release DQXI on Wii U. And if it hasn't been more obvious, why would the even release it on Wii U when KH3 and FF15 are on PS4. If they're trying to make the PS4 the main console for Japan, why would they try to split the market by releasing it on Wii U?
