yes.

Assuming it is at least 80 Meta quality.

They are taking a more open world approach which will help it in the current market environment. (that does not mean I personally would not prefer an old school FF approach)

It wouldn't impact the remake if xv does bad, but you could kiss xv2 and xv3 goodbye... Which I am ok with!

and i'd say, when ffxv fails to meet sales expectations square enix will reuse ffxv assets to make either cheap dlc or a xv2 game. like they did with ffxiii. i would even go so far and say that if ffxiii would have been more successful, we wouldn't have gotten xiii-2 and xiii-3 and instead either have kingdom hearts 3 or ffxv by now.

I believe Final Fantasy XV will sell less than Final Fantasy XIII... Final Fantasy XIII has sold 5.3 million according to VGChartz... i don't know why so many people think is so easy.

For example, the most important market for this game is Japan, where actually PS4 did really bad, and will probabily sell only 1/2 of what did PS3.
