Who cares who has more games? Play what you want. Xbox One does have a better lineup this year, Sony admitted they have a thin lineup. What is the argument about really?

No they didn't. Show me where they said that ... I'll wait for you to Google it and then point out why you're wrong.

I believe he's speaking about the Sony spokesman who said that the 2015 first party line up was a little "sparse". It was something along the lines of that. The word sparse was definitely used though. I don't see it though. Sony is still releasing great games this year.

"Sony should be thankful for getting the games. The Playstation brand is weak without 3rd parties."

I think it's pretty obvious what this persons agenda is. Pedaling the same ol shtick every thread he goes to.

Well he's right. Dudebros have no incentive to go ps4 overt xb1. That is,  if you are a Dudebro.

"The PS4 has less games than the XB1. Why is it selling more?"
"Actually it has a lot more."
"No, Indies don't count."

I'm gonna focus on this because its relevant to the discussion.

Its not that indies don't count, some are fantastic. But most are not, practically shovelware.

Except you forgot about the rest he listed which "don't count" insert random reason to fit agensa here...

Its turning into console war nonsense, I'm focusing on software.

Now go ahead and spin that.

Whatever dude, justify your purchase by enjoying and discussing the games on your system, don't do it by discrediting the other.

I know what he's refering to. I'm just waiting for him to post the quote so I can tell him what it means.

What's even more entertaining is " sparse" is a subjective term. "Sparse" for Sony is still more games then "Best lineup in XBOX history" is for MS. This is rich.

I guess that's subjective. Its not the size of the library that appeals me, its specific games. The games I want to play on PS4 simply aren't here yet and won't be this year.

Most of this is indie, niche and Japanese games. They arent the reasons PS4 is doing so well. Even games PS4 shares with X1 move more hardware.

The 360 BC is going to be more notable than most of those PS4 exclusives and console exclusives.

LOL meanwhile in Japan the X1 has like 60k total sales and the PS4 is over a million already... (not to mention that not only japanese people buy the system for those games im a living example...). but yeah im sure that people will run and buy an X1 so they can play Mass Effect for the 3rd time...

A million is a drop in the bucket compared to the other 21 million units PS4 has sold. This is why Sony basically just makes games for the west these days. Even their Japanese games are designed to appeal to us.

Hence, the PS4 is a massive success even without the indie, niche, Japanese games. So I repeat, "They arent the reasons PS4 is doing so well."

Those japanese games have certainly won E3 for sony despite MS having BC

That's a completely fair statement. Why can't you be like that all the time?

The only ones saying PS4 has no games are Sony fans. Could you guys please stop playing victim in these sort of threads?

Around 90% of the xbone library is the same as the PS4 anyway, so why does it matter. People buy consoles for the multiplats mostly. And multiplats happen to run best on PS4 and PS is a more powerful brand. Japanese gamers have also never shown much intrest in foreign consoles, so Sony consoles always get much more support from Japan. But those games usually aren't big system sellers.

The PS4 has 227 exclusives and 335 multiplatform games.

The xbox one has 110 exclusives.

Together, that's 337 exclusives and 335 mulitplatform games.

So about half the games are different from the ones that are multiplatform.

Yet you said, "Around 90% of the xbone library is the same as the PS4 anyway."

So how did you get the 90%?

By only taking into accounts games that matter to the audience that buys these consoles. Hint: it's not for Oliioliiwood 2.

Well, since you are a god of video games and declared what games matter to the audiences.... All of those games mean nothing to 'em.

Seriously, how would you know what the audience wants or doesn't want when you said "Around 90% of the xbone library is the same as the PS4 anyway."?
