I'm honestly kind of astonished. I expected it to be revealed at E3. It wasn't. I expected it to be revealed at the investors meeting. It wasn't. Not Club Nintendo is shutting down it's NA site on Tuesday, and we still have no idea what's replacing it.

Why is Nintendo being so tight lipped about this? Are they just going to launch and announce it simultaneously? Will it launch with the release of there first mobile game? Suspiciously, both the Wii U and 3DS are scheduled for maintainence today and tomorrow. Maybe they're getting ready for an announcement?

Maybe around Q4 of this year?

Now that you mention it, I'm also surprised that they didn't mention their new program at E3.

I thought they would annouced something at E3 too, but I guess that will be left for a Direct

Maybe they`ll do it in August, or maybe they`re announce their plans with the launch soon after.

Knowing Ninten`s weird antics, they probably thought the announcement didn`t fit with the theme of E3...

Let's remember that Nintendo usually announce releases date just before it's release. I expect the next direct to reveal more about this and they release it soon after direct.

Just like they announced and released Miiverse on the 3DS, this will take up until the last minute

I think it will have its own direct/presentation so people and the media can FOCUS SOLELY on the New Club Nintendo.

I really thought it'd be at E3 and, given that they still haven't mentioned it, I suspect it may have something to do with that cross-platform account idea they revealed for the future with the NX and such.
