For some reason only Nintendo games come to mind... and I played the heck out of Assassin's Creed 4/Farcry 4/GTA V/Shadows of Mordor.

I think I've had the most fun with either Splatoon or Mario Kart 8... really liked Super Mario 3d world tho.

I've got more candidates if this were to include PC.
