So it sounds like the third game is the true path and true ending.
Not exactly a fan of having to buy the true ending. Perhaps one game does a good enough job to make you feel content with the story (ignorance is bliss). I'll see, as I'm currently looking into it with the first games. Though there will be big problems for you if you want to discuss the plot with someone who has played the the third game since things you may believe are truth in your game turn out to be false if you play the third.

There is no true ending. The third Path is just another alternative route. Yeap from wat i seen.

No, that is the true ending, because the main character discovers that the "real culprit" is anunseen kingdom that has been behind it all and manipulating them all along. And then you take up arms against this new kingdom.

That is definitely the true path/ending, seeing as it invalidates your actions and choices in the first two games as wrong.

:0

I cant argue this, not saying because of you! Its hard to discuss, it does makes sense however when you compare the other 2games to this one. That said i still think imo that its just alt timelines. But that def could be argued!!!

Anywayz im still excited, if its $15 dollars each (as dlc) then $70 isnt bad for 3 games... but everyone opinions differ.

Still bullshit.

Nintendo and PC gamer

Sooo, where's the part where you clear things up regarding the first two paths?

Or they could have offered it as 1 game with multiple paths, and sell it at the price of a normal game.

How much did the special edition cost in Japan? That version that came with both stories and the DLC, will it come to the West? Because if it's not that much expensive, I'd preffer getting that version and just saving all the hussle of buying each separate history.

DLC should either be $15 or $20 ($10 or $12 would be Crazy good though). So if you buy 1 copy and the other as DLC and the Third Path the most you should be paying is $80, a good scenario would be $60 for 3 full games (if its $15 each).

I hope Nintendo makes a special pack to avoid paying more than 50-55€, because for a handheld game 60-80€ is really expensive, specially if it's one game split into three parts.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Yeah.... but they didn't. Its still 2 full games (or 3 when you count the DLC).

It is, 2 Full FE games and a third for a total of under $70!!!

Or $55 for 2 full games!!

So where do one find this information that clearly shows that there's a whole game's worth of content in each version? I'm not disappointed by this personally and I think this is the best way to handle it but you have to realise that by not commenting on the amount of content you're doing the complete opposite of clearing things up. If anything this thread gives the impression that you know the game(s) won't be fleshed out and instead of sharing some solid evidence goes straight for the "2 FULL games for $55!!!" argument. Needless to say this thread won't do anything to make those in doubt change their mind.

The info is me compariing the chapters each version has to the other games made like PoR/SS/BS/etc (including awakening).

Buying 1Retail and the other one as DLC for $55 has over 50ch+ (main game) compared to the biggest main game Radiant Dawn ($50 game with about 42-45ch on a home console and no extra feats).

Dunno how much side chapters/etc are but Hoshido (white) is supposedly alot of content in that regard including Online/Local Multiplayer and many other features (biggest being my castle).

Third Path DLC for $15/$20 is already as big as the GBA games. I dont see a problem, again opinions differ :0

As long as each game is really its own, fleshed out story, rather than the same maps with different texts, then i can live with this.
