Nah. Only go digital when it is the only choice.

No. The only thing that will ever get me to buy a game digitally is if it is digital exclusive (i.e Shovel Knight)

I would buy everything digitally if the prices were more reasonable. Right now it's only PC and some Nintendo games I buy digitally.

At least we're still lower than Australia (for now...)

What kind of prices is it for you in Canada? Similar to us in UK or even greater?

If I could keep the games forever (even SAVE DATA/PROGRESS) even on newer consoles later on then I would consider buying retail games digitally.

That's literally what I've been predicting the NX is going for.

I wish it were competitvely priced. Only makes sense. I mean they don't have to ship it, no retailer cut, not disc cost, case cost, manual, ect.

Even $5 would be nice.

Regardless I buy digital. Don't have 100's of dvd/game/ect cases needing a place to be stored, and also no need to get up and browse through cases. Can just turn on system and look at icons or whatever of games I wnat to play.

As a collector, I will always prefer physical, regardless of price.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

And honestly, it already gets competitive now.

I'm all digital on the Wii U and 3DS, and there are sales on these games all the time. I fell in love with a franchise because of a digital sale. SMT IV for $15. Bought REvelations for $20. Bought Darksiders 2 for $20. Street Fighter IV 3D for $20. Just played my first MGS for $20. And a lot of these games go for much cheaper now.

If you're saying digital pricing isn't competitive, you're lying to yourself.
