disaster day of crisis is a big wii game

Yep, but it's a second party game, so doesn't count in this thread.

I only see that each time a BIG budget game is announced ,be it Rainbow Six Vegas 2 ,Dead Space ,Prototype ,Civilization Revolution ,Mafia 2 ,Project Origin ,Streetfighter IV etc the Wii doesnt have a version .And when it has one as in COD5 ,The Force Unleashed and the likes its usually because theres a PSP or PS2 version in the works too from where it will be ported and adapted .

This fall will be a big telling of where 3rd parties stand on Wii. If they can moving over, or if they are going to keep trends as they have been. You won't see any FFXIII or RE5, but we should start to at least see a surge of 3rd party software that is at least respectable since they have had the time now to develop some titles. I would expect some bigger 3rd party titles in Fall 2009 if sales continue though.

Probably Spring 09, the Wii will have HUGE games.....We need more FPS!!!!!

Off Topic: When is the Everybody's Nintendo Channel coming???

There are no big 3rd party Wii games, they are a myth!! Don't believe all you see online :D

Before long it will be a year and a half into the Wii's lifecycle and at this point it STILL doesn't have the sort of library that you expect the market leading system to have. Is E3 the big announcement platform for third parties? Considering the shadow of its former self that it now is, I wouldn't be betting as much on it as in previous years. Spin it how you want, throw the excuses up all you want, but take it from someone with a soft spot for Nintendo: It's a seriously bad sign that third parties STILL haven't thrown anything much decent behind the Wii (perhaps Capcom excluded), and I honestly doubt it's going to change. WTF is the deal?

How bout Call of Duty 5, Guitar Hero IV, Monster Hunter 3, Alone in the Dark, Fragile, Madden, Rock Band, Final Fantasy: CC, Ghostbusters, StarWars: The Force Unleshed, or ToS2?

Those are some pretty substantial 3rd party games, no?

If you wanted to go in depth, I could list you the entire lineup, but lets leave it.

The problem with those games is the best versions of those multiplatform games will be on the PS3 and 360. Those include: GH4 (DLC not on Wii), Alone in the Dark (no control advantage and worse graphics), Madden (Wii versions are dumbed down), Rock Band (again, DLC), Ghostbusters (again likely no control advantag and worse presentation), Star Wars (same story, motion controls are NOT 1 to 1), and I would include CoD5 but who knows if the presentation will be good enough to outweigh the controls considering the developer is not Infinity Ward. I would much rather play CoD4 than MoH:H2 or MP3, though, now that I've played all 3. I do hope Rock Band makes it to the Wii because I want that series to succeed over GH. Hopfully Nintendo allows external storage options and DLC eventually, though, otherwise you'd be missing the best part. And I know a lot of you are going to argue that you prefer Madden on Wii and that's fine. People will stll buy the PS2 version as well, but that doesn't mean people are buying the system for it and that it's going to do very well. You can't just list games that will sell very well on other systems and claim that it shows 3rd party support for Wii is huge.

Later in the year. Why does no one have patience?

Because you can't put patience in your Wii and play it.

Trauma Center would like to have a word with you.

Oh wait... uh...

They already confirmed dlc. All we need is storage. And are you kidding me. Mp3 single player is so much better than CoD4 , but CoD 4 is a better purchase , because of the online and a decent story. It's your opinion though.

Just wait to the E3, then if no AAA high budget third party exclusive game on the wii is not annouce you have all the right to complain.

They are being made as we speak, its only a matter of time...

Nintendo still doomed?
