Don't hold your breath. With all the games coming for the other systems, you wouldn't miss it much. I on the other hand will have fun with it!

Ideally, they meant to release sooner -- but the date slipped past E3 after they had their E3 presentation put together. Allegedly, the game has been 'done' since this past December. |
That would be best case scenario. I was hoping for the same. The removal from the shop is not a good sign. Europe and Japan are getting this very soon... Will the stupidity of NoA never stop (or even pause)?

The problem is, no games in June, July, August. That's a HUGE hole in the release schedule. Basicailly, from Splatoon in May to Super Mario Maker in September, we get nothing. That's the issue for me anyway. I was hoping Devil's Third or even Fatal Frame V could be a good filler for that time period. It would appear no, however....
They need to drop this game soon. I'm getting bored with how slowly they're releasing locked material on "Splatoon". No game should be expected to cover four months of drought... Where are the games? Most of these titles are finished!

The same is going on here in Europe with the 3DS. All Games from XSEED/Marvelous and Atlus are to be dated, released digital only or are confirmed for next year. Now, Nintendo managed it to bring the not so brand new anymore Natsumes Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley to Europe. No words what will happen to Story of Seasons, PoPoLoCrois and Legend of Legacy. All these Titles will be released in the US the upcoming months, including Yo-Kai Watch which also is a 2016 Release for Europe. We're still waiting for Etrian Mystery Dungeon which will come out in September, Etrian Odyssey Untold 2 will be out in 2016 here in Europe. Devil Survivor Record Breaker will be out in Fall here. Lord of Magna received a digital only release. You can consider this as the worst year for European 3DS User since the Launch of the System. Seems like Nintendo missed it to gain more Partners for Europe and so it comes 3DS won't have any interesting Titles in the upcoming months.
But, back to Topic: Nintendo of America is even worse. What are they planning? I guess the problem for them is the conflict in Syria these days. And of course, Devil's Third is not the Game for Nintendo of Americas family friendly image. So either they will ninja the Game in the Stores without any advertisement or they cancel it. And most likey Fatal Frame will only get an eShop release in the US. If this is true, you really have to question the People at Nintendo of America. They're doing silly things which also affected European releases in the past because of their weird censoring. Sorry I have to say this, but Nintendo of America is managed by morons.

That's the confirmation that Nintendo of America won't publish it.

But why wouldn't they publish it?
