If it ever goes mobile, yes.
Still has a decent chance on Nintendo hardware too. Zelda U and Zelda NX multi-platform maybe?

If Zelda comes out it will have a stellar attach rate on the Wii U.
Just take a look at Splatoon - it is a raving success despite being a new IP.
OK - to be fair - there isn't much competition on the Wii U anyway. Which doesn't mean that Nintendo gamers aren't picky about gameplay...
No. Zelda isn't popular enough and the weak sales of Nintendo's current and next console will also stop a Zelda game from reaching 10m.

Twilight princess didn't sell as well as I thought it would either , and I think it can be attributed to its name . anything with princess in the title is a hard sell to teenage males ( unless they were already Zelda fans ) in America . |
doubt it, the game almost sold as good as ocarina of time and that's considered the best zelda of all time by a lot of nintendo fans. doubt it has anything to do with the name.

Just saying, it sold better than Ocarina of Time. |
Much better. I just disagree with his reason as to why the game didnt sell more.
Of course. As soon as Nintendo does the right thing and goes 3rd party.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
If we talk about the last of us selling 10 million then a few zelda games have likely sold 10 million. Very few single sku titles make 10 million.
