FIFA! I stopped playing soccer as a kid, but grew to like more in the mid 2000s and finally dove in to FIFA with FIFA14. Since I've put hundreds of hours in 14 and 15, needless to say that I'm hooked.

The 3D Marios kinda work as an example for me. Wasn't a big fan of SM64 or Sunshine, but SMG is one of my all time favorites.

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Persona, Dragon Age and Pikmin.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Zelda.

Always saw it on shelves but I never found it too appealing for me to buy as a casual. I was skeptical first since it was 2D but I had to buy the ALBW Gold XL with 30% off.

Best decision I have done in gaming because since then, I was looking after new genres I never played before and I love them.

F Mario.

Never thought I would play an Assassin's Creed game until I got Black Flag for all the pirate stuff. Found myself enjoying the non-pirate stuff more than I thought I would, and while I haven't gotten any other titles I'm definitely open to the idea. At the very least I'd like to pick up Unity when I can get it really cheap, and I enjoy learning about new titles.

COD. Avoided it for years but played Blops 2 and been hooked since.

Mother/EarthBound.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Fire Emblem: I heard it was a great SRPG, but I never bothered to play it because it was Nintendo First Party. Once I played on my boyfriend's 3DS, I got addicted! I love the weapon triangle, the advantages of being in a forest than being in a plain, and other stuff exclusive to Fire Emblem. It's so fun making pairings as well! Especially crack pairings!

Bet with Xander XT:

I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531

Me!

Pikmin. I never tried before but I decided to go on and try Pikmin 3. I loved it. Such a beautiful serie.

You didn't want to play it because it was a Nintendo game?
