yep... pretty sure its gonna be:

1) handheld

2) Home console

Where is the fusion part? well they both use game cartriges (the same type).

So you can litterally take the game out of your home console, and put it into your handheld, and "maybe" even continue playing right where you left off.

The differnce is the resolutions the games will be rendered at... obviously the home console will run at a higher resolution (x2-x3) than the handheld.

Honestly it will be a piece of shit that will remain on the same path as Wii U. The writing is already on the wall from all the pot E3 Nintendo Exec comments we are seeing this week.

Conclusion it will probably be the first ever Nintendo console I don't buy unless they get their act together.

Either a console or handheld. If it's a console, then it'll be a true console and not a mini console.

not into nindendo so i dont know all the details about there company history ect but i like to imagine things

i think it will either be a console a bit stronger than ps4 and xb1 so then they can get the 3rd party back they might believe as i do that this gen will be long something like 2020 is when new HW will release so they want to salvage the end of the gen much like last gen when patcher would advise them to have a successor to the wii as early as 2010

another possibility is that there done with consoles and it will be the successor to the 3ds that might function as a hybrid

I think it will just be a new console to succeed the Wii U.
