a "mental addiction" as you describe it in no way could feel at all similar.

I would say its the wrong word. More just liking it. Alot. Like how we all like video games(well I would assume so on this site...)

Thinking you need something is alot easier to deal with than FEELING that you need something. Using the same word for both would be inappropriate.

@ Moongoddess256

How many packs do you smoke a day? If you don't mind me asking.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

I try make myself wait at least 3 hours for each cigarette, so it ends up being at most half a pack a day. If I make myself space it out any more than that I start getting... unpleasant. I give myself rules to keep it under control. Like I do not allow myself to chain-smoke. Ever.

As odd as this may sound.

On my last trip to the Pocono's I stopped at a smoke shop and discovered these mini filtered cigars called Dean's. A carton runs you about $14 with shipping and tax. Anyways, they are prodominantly all natural tobacco and while I did smoke just as much when I started, after a couple of months I found myself not craving nicotine as much, even though they do contain nicotine although only what is naturally in it. I never actually feel the need to smoke, it is more of a mental thing now as sometimes I would think about smoking as I would be bored or drinking.

I enjoy it more now as I can go a week or so without one and it does not make me feel sick at all. Like I did with pot, I am stopping for a while because of the coming birth of my neice and dropping the habit so far has gone amazingly well. 1 week now.

I like them alot since they come in all different flavors ranging from all natural and menthol for the cigarette lovers to chocolate for me. :)

Yet I find it strange how a tobacco product somehow helped me with a tobacco related problem. No idea if it will work for everyone else, but jeez what irony huh?

You're stubbornly refusing to understand what should be obvious.
