Forums - Nintendo - Could next E3 be the greatest Nintendo E3 of all time?

Pretty much this.

Besides, what you are describing is a Zelda themed E3, and that won't happen. Will Zelda U be there? Sure, unless they have moved it into a NX launch title, but it will still be there. But forget about the Zelda demo for NX (who would buy the Zelda game after seein those graphics... that will never materialize in a proper game?), forget the imaginary Zelda Dungeon Maker and don't even get me started on that Zelda movie.

People bought Skyward Sword and it was in the same E3 as Zelda Wii U tech Demo.

Ah, it's true. I thought the Zelda demo was in 2012.

I also had forgotten the Netflix series, which apparently has now been picked up by Amazon.

Well last year was very good and certainly can't be worse than this year.

Yes. It could have Zelda U, which will already make it as good as last Years and 11 times better than this years.

I agree, we still know next to nothing about Zelda U. We had an announcement trailer, and a skewed view of the world with Link shooting arrows at moblins. There is a LOT they could dig into next year.

I have seen almost all Nintendo E3s. Most of them were decent / average. Last good one was at E3 2006.

Last year was very good.

Last year was "good" but not greatest. In 2006 I really felt the launch of next gen. The unique motion controller and games were great. Saw it live on ten sports gamer tv. I felt hyped (despite stopping gaming at that time).

Yeah, short of them showing up on stage and saying they are cosing shop, I could hardly see being more let down.

No, if they announce a new console , it will be the confirmation they dont care about WiiU since a long time like we thought, especially if they announced Zelda no more as an exclusive but now a cross gen game

It cant be a good E3 if they announced NX, it can only be good if they show WiiU is not dead yet and has big games coming... So it will surely be bad

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

You had to say it, don't you? Now you've just jinxed us all.

Thanks.
