"x game sold horribly" (even if developers say it's been profitable for years).
In other words, spread misinformation and pretend you didn't know what you said was wrong or simply never admit you were wrong even when someone shows you any evidence (ignoring their post and posting the same thing again in the same thread should do the trick).
