I love seeing idiots on the internet take the console wars so seriously that they cry about it, threaten people about it and talk shit to people with the other console about it. Like this #XboxOrWeRiot thing with the CoD deal moving to PS4 is hilarious to me.

Console wars keep the industry energized. It would suck if everyone agreed on everything.

The so-called console war is the single most toxic element at play in the industry today. It turns what could be meaningful conversations about the medium into shouting matches. And, by encouraging consumers to pick sides, it lets publishers get away with murder.

So, no, I don't like the "console war."

The wars is what has driven the industry forward so I like them but I'm not as interested nowadays than when I was younger (I was mental during the Megadrive/Snes era).

As long as people are honest with themselves. Like do people really say MS had a better E3 in 2013 or 2015 than Sony?

I really only become "interested" (concerned) when one clearly starts struggling as compared to the others.

I've been following this site for a while and last gen was my favorite kind of war where all three find success and I personally enjoyed all of them. I've only started getting active on these forums recently, though, as I've grown increasingly worried about Nintendo and their wii u.

This war is shaping up to be one in which the PS4 is well above 50% market share, and I tend not to care for that. It's boring and isn't good for the other two, but is also inevitable at this point. Disappointing :

Yes because it's amusing and adds competition to push the console makers forward. Look at what happened to Sony with the PS4. Plus some people make the most hilarious remarks that often ends up putting them in a special corner of the internet with a dunce cap.
