That is the only case where this makes any sense. Earlier on they said they dont want to show trailers for games more than a year out.

Now hes saying they have good trailers, but dont want to show them to dissapoint fans....

 

Either reggie lost his mind, or zelda is 2017 release.

Honestly this sounds like hes saying zelda wont be out in 2016.

This is the first time I feel like it will be held back for the nx.. seriously, we didn't show it because we didn't want to disappoint anyone? Yeah, disappoint wiiu fans because it's coming to the nx. Oh well, what can you do....

They did. Several times within the last few days. Here's the thing. NIntendo doesn't do E3 events the same way other big companies do. Zelda isn't going to make it out this year. The two big games are boignto be Mario Maker and Star Fox and that's what they wanted to focus on the most. It's true they did show Zelda last year but then again, last year' big game was Smash Bros. and no other game was going to steal any attention from that.

Dont worry it looks good though (reggie says so)... and you can play it in 2017 or there about.

Hey, if they knew that their Digital Event would be disappointing, then that's actually a plus point for Nintendo. It means that they weren't completely delusional.


Maybe Reggie is less incompetent than we though.
