It was the best game they showed but both the other consoles have better racing games out already.

Debateable; the racers available on PS4/X1 so far seem pretty mediocre to me. I'm not sure they even have any futuristic racers.

Its debatable sure, but clearly proper racing games are not your taste. And I think you did say nothing on PS4 and XB1 interests you. Looks like your gaming interests are limited to just Wii U games. I say expand your horizons, there is a wide variety of games out there. I thought nothing can beat Nintendo, but then I got a PS1 and I realised what a world of wonderful games there really is.

If futuristic racing games are your thing, you should check out Wipeout HD on PS3 and Wipeout 2048 on Vita. They are amazing games.

I laugh because the same people who saying Reggie is delusional are same people writing WiiU doom threads, bashing every move Nintendo does, and complaining about Star Fox graphics.

I strongly believe, now, Nintendo is probably tired of U.S. Game journalism, proof of last years e3. They had a great e3 conference and still people crapped all over it. So maybe they just tired of e3 and how douchey it's become. I think July 4th direct is coming with some awesome stuff told.

"Proper" racing games?

You misunderstand; I am not a Nintendo only gamer, I had a 360 last gen and some of my favourite games of that gen were on it. Played plenty of PS1, PS2, PS3, and original Xbox also.

I knew Reggie was a fraud!

In other news, water is wet.

Sarcasm OFF, i thought that was clear years ago. Reggie and Iwata are driving Nintendo in a downward spiral and people are yet to realize this.

Miyamoto is the only one that stear clear from the mess, even thou he has that old school mentality, which is not that bad being in his position of developer/director and not on the CEO stuff.

better yet, people die when they are killed.

No, Miyamoto is a fine game designer and will always be remembered as the best game creator ever but his old school mentality is exactly what's holding Nintendo games back all these years. Whenever there is a new game in the works at Nintendo, they hold the project, go to Miyamoto and ask for advice if Miyamoto says "Let's make of this potential new ip a Mario game where he rescues Peach or let's remove the online function" then that is what happens.

Because of tradition and Miyamoto's influence Nintendo games have a hard time adapting to the present day where core gamers want new ips, online multiplayer, more mature natured games and good written stories. Sure, big games like Smash Bros and Mario Kart and the recent Splatoon have p2p online (which sucks) but what about the upcoming Star Fox Zero game, will it be online? Miyamoto says: "We have no plans for online right now, plans COULD change"

What about that 1080p F-Zero game with online people have been asking for years? Miyamoto says: "Why would anybody want FZero??? You got Mario Kart 8 isn't taht enuff??"

Yeah to be honest the games announced, its too late to try and safe face, might aswell remind people that the Wii U has a megaton in the future.

if the last guardian has those trailers i don't see why would Nintendo could put another 30 second trailer for the game. No big surprise and we all know their E3 isn't good. the games are good but the E3 presentation was really not good and it really deflates a lot of hype for several people.

it is also true that Nintendo mentioned they wanted to show only games coming in 6-8 months. but they've also shown games more than 8 months last year. so why change in direction which is why a lot of nintendo gamers are confused and disappointed. anyway it is over, stay positive. good for splatoon getting that 1 million sold. and i've checked most of the Nintendo games on treehouse and several of them aren't that bad. and checking podcasts and see if there were interviews with the developers like Metroid Prime: Federation Force, the presentation isn't good but the developer mentioned about the gameplay more which wasn't shown in E3. it seems just an game that was really not polished for even a demo.

going back, it really just disappoint the Zelda userbase and waiting for the Wii U game.

Nintendo seems to not want to release Zelda footage because they don't like showing off games that won't be released soon. This is actually more of a disappointment for fans than not showing anything, because per their explanation this means the new Zelda game is a long way off being released (possibly years based on Reggie's other quotes).

It is statements like this that further disappoints fans.
