You need to get your hands on Gamecube Component cables. They are the crown jewel of the GCN. Last I checked they are worth up to $200 alone. I love mine.

They really produce a great picture for that era. Their output is noticeably sharper than the Wii component cables.

lol I had those I doubt I threw them away.... need to find....

that said I am suprised they are worth that much. You can play GC games on the Wii perfectly and the component cable for those are easy to find.

Nintendo put a digital to analog converter chip inside their GC component cables which makes them just about impossible to reverse engineer (as far as I know, nobody has been able to do it yet).  Unless Nintendo one day releases the chip design, the price and demand for those component cables are only going to go up.

Nintendo games more often than not go up in value over time. I've noticed this is especially the case for the consoles that didn't quite sell well (N64 and GCN namely).

Watch out, in 5-10 years I can see many Wii U games going for a lot of money (some already are).

yea it's not just GC, nearly everything has gone up in value and very quickly. My sega saturn collection especially. I keep picking stuff up on any system if i can get a good price. They could go down temporarily but long term it's best just to hold, i regret pretty much every sale i've made in the past.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

I still have virtually everything you named except Tales of Symphonia. We're rich!

Damn, definitely making sure I keep all my Wii U games! Wonder if a game like The Wonderful 101 which I got for $12 will become $120 in 10 years!

Nice Collection! =)

Gamecube games are really starting to go up a lot in price. They are still far from the NES and SNES era in prices.

I do have a GC collection worthy of a few thousand dollars, I dont know how the market of GC is in the US but in Sweden I think the most expensive game is Four Swords which is probably around 100$ at this point. For the big pack in nice condition you are looking at 200-250$.

Its image quality is really great. Its also the best way to play on a flat screen TV. Just make sure you hold down the B button when you start up a progressive scan game.

Time to sell.

It really does show Nintendo games pass the test of time. I am in the mood to get a GC again now. I have used my Wii over the past decade to play these games (mostly SSBM).
