How do you see that happening, Its not in the 3rd parties intrest to fragment the industry some more.  How do you convince them to make a port for hardware with no userbase and a fanbase that does not buy their games.

I agree it can't just be a late third wheel, it has to next gen otherwise developers have little reason to support it. It must to positioned to succeed the PS4 and X1 and so 2016 is too early a release date if this was a machine designed to target the core audience

We already know that Nintendo is working on new home console, but that doesn't prove that NX is a home console specifically.

2017. is not problem, because at end of 2017 Wii U will be 5 years old and thats ok.

Why would you not want a new one in 2016? The Wii U is a sunken ship, need a better piece of HW quickly.

This is great news! It means this years terrible e3 was for a good reason, the missing franchises have been held back a year and will now move to nx.

I still don't think its coming in 2016. It will come in 2017, a year or two earlier than PS4 and X1's successors.

We won't see a new PlayStation or Xbox console till like 2020

Doesnt have anything to do what I want or not. It's not very likely at all. We know nothing, and as history has told us before there is a pattern on how Nintendos consoles are revealed and this doesnt fit. Not to forget the Saturn/Dreamcast debacle - Do not want to go there. So what are the signs of the console going to be released in 2016?
