Forums - Gaming - Which is better? Ghost Recon vs. Splinter Cell vs. Rainbow Six

When I bought my Xbox 1 I used it for DVDs, Halo, and Star Wars.  Anyway I was wondering since I had no time to play these series as I was in college prep classes in HS (I'm in college now) which one should I start with.  By the way I am not new to Clancy--love the films, finished Bear and the Dragon in about a week.  Thanks for recommendations!!!

"Back off, man. I'm a scientist."

Your theories are the worst kind of popular tripe, your methods are sloppy, and your conclusions are highly questionable! You are a poor scientist. Especially if you think the moon landing was faked.

ioi + 1

rainbow six.. ghost recon and splintercell fell off last year especially splintercell.. while rainbow sixvegas actually improved the franchise

Splinter Cell for me--I like GRAW for the coop terrorist hunting, but the feeling of entering a room and spying a guard, hiding in the shadow, throwing a can at the corner to make him investigate, then sneaking up and snapping his neck is just so awesome!

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Oh Lord, I can't choose. There has been at least one game in each that I absolutely loved... Each offers a different experience.

I love Splinter Cell for its "sneaky-sneaky-gonna-lop-your-fuckin-head-off" attitude. I love GRAW for its FPS+squad playablility (and its story, which is fun) and R6 for its tactical nature and good multiplayer.

If I had to choose one for next gen, it would be GRAW. The SC for 360 was decent but mostly "meh". Conviction is back with the team that created the good SC games (1 & 3) so it should return to greatness. R6 was good but the multiplayer didn't hook me. Gears offered more that catered to my taste at the time. GRAW was the single-player experience that I enjoyed most this generation, though I'm sure there are many that will vehemently disagree with my opinion.
