Why no journalist is clever enough to ask something straight about the possibility of making Zelda U cross gen

Nintendo is so full of bullsh*t!!! Damn hypocrites! This is just some PR crap. They've shown plenty of games 2yearsaheadoftimebefore

Dont expect zelda on wii u in 2016 guys.

It's rough when a Zelda game isn't released until the 4th year of a systems life. That pretty much guarantees another 4-5 years in between the next game which basically makes it almost impossible for a Zelda to launch anywhere near the beginning of NX.

Unless they have other parties brought in to help work on this it's a horrible thought. If Zelda U isn't a dual launch for both systems they should almost release a remastered version right away for NX. It will help entice a lot more people. It will help people jump on board a lot quicker.

I saw an interview w Myamoto saying that Zelda U would still release on the Wii U- but he did not confirm a time frame or give anymore detail-

The fact he is referring to Myamotos quote instead of saying it himself makes me think they are just playing another word game- after all Myamoto, Iwata etc will just say they were not properly translated if it comes down to it-

The fact Reggie says anything at all does not mean a thing IMO- the guy could care less about reality/truth

I don't care if they also make a version for the NX (assuming the NX is that kind of platform), I just want the damn game.

This doesn't disprove the fact that this will come to NX. I can feeeeeeel it already! Next year when they announce the NX version! Oh glorious rage!!!

In all this 'we want to focus on whats directly ahead of us' rhetoric they're pushing there's one thing that is bothering me, and that is that last year they had no problem showing off stuff that was further than a year away. Heck X has seen what, 3 E3s now? Yoshis woolly world was at last years conference, so was Splatoon which released about eleven month later. It's fine to focus on what's in front of you, what's attainable, but if your line up looks like the one Nintendo gave us, you better throw something in there that is a bit further off and completely new. (I'm not even talking about Zelda U, we knew that was coming in one form or the other, but something new, and something big.)
The community is obviously nervous about the WiiU being abandoned and not showing anything beyond 2016 didn't help that.

Anyways good to hear them confirm that Zelda will be on WiiU and that, as of now there are no further delays.
