I never even played anything at a Dreamcast or Xbox, PS guy since I was 7 years old and never had other console. Since Shenmue 3 is going to be at ps4 and pc, and has been more than a decade of the last games, would be nice if we get a HD collection for newcomers like me get introduced to the game. Do you think we will get that ? It would be quite obvious in my opinion to release this collection one year before Shenmue 3...

Tough one, Dreamcast was my favorite console which gave me the two greatest games ever created in my opinion. I will always love playing them on DC, but would love a HD recolour on PS4.

It really should be done, just as a refresher and to get a new audience on board. A HD Collection would be appropriate for the imminent release of Shenmue 3.

I'm sorry, but I don't see any con in re-releasing this series for a new generation. Saying "Buy a DC" is like telling someone to buy a VHS or a LaserDisc for certain movies, even when a Blu-Ray or DVD version is perfectly serviceable for release. Why should games be left out in the cold? It's not as if it takes a lot of manpower to update these games.

If they don't then I'll just run through them via other means right before Shenmue 3 releases to get the story fresh in my mind.
