If fans put as much effort into despising this game as they currently have, and instead focused their efforts in actually buying Metroid games and Wii U consoles, this franchise would not be so dormant (primarily referring to Metroid sales).

Nintendo gets shunned for relying on Mario too often, so they branch out and decide to expand the Metroid universe. I do not remember this sort of backlash with Metroid Pinball.
This new generation of gamers are really a bunch cry babies. I mean wow.
Nintendo is doomed if they do, doomed if they don't.

This game actually looks fun, just saying ;)

The game looks baaaad, they should rename it

Or, Nintendo fans can actually show disinterest, and have nintendo take immediate action. What kind of metroid related message would buying a wii u send?

Metroid pinball was probably a small game by a small studio. This game is a relatively larger game, by a larger studio (next level, the guys who make luigi's mansion and mario strickers). Nintendo is trying to avoid making full retail releases and is opting for these small budget games that only lower the metroid name. But suddenly we are crybabies for calling them out on it?

Way to step around my statement that Nintendo fans should actually buy Metroid games before they carry on like children. Although, carrying on like children is still lame. I am pretty sure Change.org had more important matters in mind when they decided to create a website for petitions. You know, like petition against poverty etc.

I think this is completely unecessary, just like the game, but the petition may open Nintendo eyes for what their fans really need.

buying metroid games would help the franchise, but it would not really demonstrate people's disinterest in what nintendo is currently doing. If I see that the wii u is dooing poorly, does me buying a gamecube really send my message out?

Change.org is made for change, simple as that. There may be underlying moral issues that went into creating it, but it is still a website for change. So why not utilize it to change Nintendo's way of taking the easy way out (making budget games instead of full retail releases)?
