Forums - Gaming - The Sony E3 conference got me really exicted about...

ms trumpeted their windows 10 support with every game but it was sony's conference that got you excited for pc?

Lol, You do realize that Xbox One will be running on Windows 10 and that it is a huge advantage for developers out there with their universal architecture across devices. I thought they could have trumpeted it a lot more, but they stayed fairly relaxed about that aspect :)

Don't be so mad that Sony won E3.

Quite frankly it wasn't even close... in Microsoft's favor

Well, I guess MS fans can believe that.  The rest of the internet will believe differently.

Well it got me excited for Uncharted 4 and Horizon. The other exclusive stuff they showed didn't really interest me though. Was still better than MS's, where only Halo 5 interested me.

Only the Sony fans

The rest are trumpeting MS for the literally amazing non-stop news. Classic franchises, new IP, backwards compatibility, new hardware, stuff available this week, free stuff, etc. All focus was 2015/2016, not 2016+. Sony's only megaton was Shenmue 3 which I don't personally care for and still likely will go Multiplat. FF7, multiplat. Horizon looked great! The rest was nothing new. How can we be excited about Last Guardian? It's been years in the making and is nothing new!

I think it's safe to say that based on how Type 0 sold on PS4 vs X1 and how FF sells in general, it might as well be exclusive.  They also said it's coming out for the PS4 first.  Probably PC second, but it will sell so much better on the PS4 everything else will be irrelevent.

Regarding TLG, it still qualifies as a surprise and a very pleasant one at that.  It's a very anticipated game that many have wanted to see come out eventually.

They could have made TLG at least look fun to play.  They did no such thing.

On the contrary, this isn't THAT type of game.  It's about the experience and if it's anything like Shadow of the Collossus or ICO it will satisfy greatly for those fans.  It's not about action, well some of it can be in a way like say SoC's boss battles.

It will more than likely be one of those games that gets better over time as opposed to so many now that blow their load too soon, or are too willing to show their hand immediately.

Yup.
