Forums - Sony - Sony E3 Press Conference, my thoughts.

Was Sony's E3 Great

Yes! 47 82.46%

No, it disappointed. 10 17.54%

Total:57

So, the press conference ends, and it was like I expected. Mostly 3rd parties, a few exclusives, and it didn't excite me. Now the last guardian, I personally don't get the hype, I actually hated the gameplay, it didn't fit for me. Now No man's sky actually looked good, so I will admit that. However there was very little to counter Microsoft with its B/C annoucement, and Sony is STILL holding its 399 price tag with 500 GB (which actually shocked me, as I was expecting one). As for 3rd parties, it was pretty much tiny exclusive content or early beta's, while COD now has its 1 month DLC thing on Playstation, and I won't miss it. Fact is, I didn't like it. 5/10, not impressed.

why announce possible new skus or price drops for the holidays in JUne? not a good business decision

SO. MUCH. HYPE!!!

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

The last Guardian+Shenmue 3+FF VII > Broken Backwards compatibility ( For now )

I would give this a 7/10

- TLG....meh
- Horizon, weird but cool looking
- FF7, thats pretty big but not something for me
- MM is so far fucking out there
- Uncharted looked amazing, but we've already seen it
- Where the fuck is Sony Santa Monica

I think that Battlefront is really the best looking game in the show, better than Uncharted. Fuck it looked photo realistic at times

Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

The FF VII remake announcement alone made it a great conference.

You don't say.....

the only exclusive I really care about is The Last Guardian

Horizon Zero Dawn looked cool though

shenmue 3, ffvii (if I feel like replaying it), hitman and no man's sky aren't exclusive

3/10 didn't convince me to buy a PS4. I can only hope Gamescon and TGS can convince me

What? It was amazing. Like I said before, the only cons were The Last Guardian's outdated visuals and, maybe, Final Fantasy VII being multiplat. Other than that, the conference had it all: megatons, exclusives, third parties, VR, quick PR instead of boring/long, etc. Almost perfect, 9.5/10.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won
