Did the e3 conferences get too big or what? I mena thinking of some epic reactions, the first comes to mind is Twilight Princess. you watch that and its like people are flipping balls, crying, jumping, ect. This announcement was about the same as for any decent game shown .


One of the reasons for that, and I didn't notice a mild reaction, it was huge, people cheering and standing up, is because people were looking at it very suspisciously. Most of us just didn't want to believe at the first second that the Lifestream showed up because we have been tricked before. But when the remake word showed up then we believed it. But of course the reaction cannot be an explosion, but I am most sure that those that wanted this remake are digesting this relality today and the next days and are really happy.

time exclusive. did they mention any release date? i think SE would push FFXV first.

No one connects Final Fantasy with Xbox

In times when 360 and PS3 were equal and everyone was hyped up for FF13 the PS3 Version destroyed the 360 Version
FF13-2 on the PS3,after FF13 and the people behind it +what they said killed pretty much the franchise at this point still outsold the overhyped FF13 on the 360.
Type 0 had 90% of its sales on PS4
The FF15 Demo runs like garbage on the X1 and with 2.0 you see they don't care for the X1 Version.

Nearly every (SquareEnix) RPG is Playstation Exclusive or Sony is heavily connected to it like FF15 and KH3

95% of the Final Fantasy Fans are especially in this Gen on Playstation or would easily buy one for FF7 REMAKE
Once FF7 hits other platforms especially the X1 it won't matter anymore especially not if this version runs worse like every multiplat
The X1 lives from its core fanbase the same way as Nintendo does...People buy this console only for Halo and Gears and not for Final Fantasy or J-RPGs.

Sony probably didn't care for full time exclusivity
And PC isn't a direct competitor to them as you can see with SF5 and stuff

haven't seen any videos to compare but why would the version to be a lot different?  they are both x86 architecture now, surely the commands would be a little different, but it shouldn't be that much.

I just wonder why Sony could not keep FF VII their exclusive...
FF did have hugs fan base in X0 so bigger sale shouldn't be an issue

nice. hopefully it won't be like TLG, mentioned a little few years ago and release date is 2016.

I don't think anyone is disputing that FF is bigger in Playstation than the Xbox but having FFVIIR as a console exclusive would have been huge than just saying its first on PS4. It would be like an epic note to the already megaton announcement.

So I think they do care but I'm pretty sure SE is asking a way LOT of money for that to happen.

I mean MS couldn't even secure a console exclusive for TR, its also timed. That should say a lot.

I'll join this club! Xenogears would also benefit much more from a remake as some of the controls and camera are dated, and disc 2 wasn't finished properly. Of course it would mean Nintendo/Monolith Soft should collaborate with Square-Enix, which seems unlikely.

I wonder when we will see gameplay footage, the ironic thing about this game is it's sort of talk the hype off of final fantasy XV.

Also this explains why tetsuya left he ffxv project to work on other things, it was obviousness ffvii.
