We all saw the XB1 be the anti-comsumer product in 2013 E3, and after watching 2015 E3, MS has finaly finished there 360 (pun intended) and won the hearts of gamers back. With statments like "We wont charge you for the games you already own" just made alot of there competitors and many Devs look silly now. This gen is commonly known as the Gen of Remasters and Indies and it has taking a whopping shake up. They have set the bar high.

With remasters, ports of old rare games and BC to play old games?

I do wonder how Sony are going to try to go against this, if they even are going to try to at all. It's a major advantage for Microsoft, the Xbox One will now immediately have an entire generation library of games to play. (Or at least it will eventually, it could take a while considering how it's launching with only a few and getting more during holiday).

No.

It is important for these that are choosing to migrate to PS4/Xbone from 360.

Kinda funny that MS biggest announcement was BC.

Too bad the only game on the list of compatible games I have is mass effect. They better expand that list quickly because at the moment it wouldn't be compatible with my games.

You say that like BC wasn't a huge deal for gamers circa 2013. I was just about to sell a load of my 360 games but I think I'll keep some of them now.

For me personally, I feel like this would have mattered more at launch, or at least announced prior to launch. At this point it's a nice +, but by the time that list has expanded, my interest in current games would far outweigh the older games I could play on the XB1. Either way, it's a good move ....

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

They'll probably allow you to play any games you've digitally purchased, or to purchase games individually To stream.

My bet is that PS+ members will be able to stream at a discounted prices (if not free), and that they will be allowed to play games they've purchased or will purchase. More incentive to get +, which is already a killer deal.

I expected a "How to play your old games" instruction video. Missed opportunity there if you ask me.
