Forums - Gaming - Dark souls 3 announced at microsfts presser

Yes, I'm pretty excited about it and Recore. I just wish we got some gameplay for both, I'm not a fan of CG reveals, really.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

It's a shame that people moan about the difficulty of Dark souls games. There is no greater feeling than beating something truly hard sometimes. Bosses that live in your memory years later. An easy mode would go against everything the souls games stand for. It is like somebody taking an helicopter to the summit of a mountain instead of actually climbing it. Roll on next year, so I can die with a smile on my face all over again.

Announced at Microsoft's press conference? o.O
Anyway, I am hyped though the trailer showed nothing. ^^

not suprised on this. at all. After BB MS is going to make it extra clear that DS3 is on thier console. Funny thing is they barely cared about the franchise before Sony got BB.

It's the same strategy as Rise of the Tomb Raider. Now they "have" a game to compete with Bloodborne.

This will be the last Dark Souls game. Hopefully they will work on King's Field V next.

I'll probably get it.

I've never played a Dark Souls but currently plying through Bloodborne, I can see why people like the gameplay and series. Not sure about playing/getting Dark Souls however due to various reasons but I'm enjoying Bloodborne.

Hmm, pie.

Hmmm, important move from MS, to remember soul series is not an PS exclusive.

Can't wait for DS3.

I need to beat DS2, though.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Guess what? Witcher 3 added a casual story mode for people who don't have time to git gud. Guess what more? Witcher 3 outsold Bloodborne by a huge margin.

Get with the times. Add a casual mode or I, and millions of other consumers will boycott your smug elitist games.

Making an easy mode will ruin what is so beloved about this game. Miyazaki makes the 'games he wants to play'

As a person that plays everything on max difficulty and enjoyed all of the souls games, I disagree. The devs taking a few extra days to make some balance tweeks for an optional easy mode would not ruin the game for me at all. I just won't play that mode, and it opens the door for other gamers that aren't about that life.

I hate car games, not good at it at all. It's like making a car game with such easy control that it ruins the true experience. What about online play. If p1 was on easy and p2 was on difficult.
