Forums - Gaming - The "Last Three Played" Thread

What's Gucci y'all.

Making this thread because it randomly popped into my head. Basically.

List the last 3 games you played. Include the following details:

console/platform

why you played it,

average playtime session before moving on to next game on list,

a single like/dislike,

what kind of gamers you would recommend for.

I'll go first 😌

1. Bloodborne - Ps4. Never played Souls and it got good reviews. In my console for 28 hours before moving on. Loved the atmosphere. Didn't like the anger it caused me in the beginning hours. Recommend for fans of Souls series or somebody who wants a challenge.

2. Call of Duty Advanced Warfare - Ps4. For the story and free from gamefly. Also to cool down from Bloodborne. 8 hours. Loved Kevin Spacey. Disliked the predictable plot. Recommend for shooter fans who want the same game they've been playing since 2007.

3. The Wolf Among Us - Ps4. Loved The Walking Dead from Telltale and heard Wolf was good. 10-12 hours. Loved the story/visual improvements from TWD. Also talking animals. Didn't like the cliffhanger ending/wait for season 2. Recommend for fans of TellTale games or story dominant games.

your turn guise

Edit: I have no idea why it only showed "the" in the title but that was funny. Shout out for the spongebob reference.

The...? The...?! The WHAT?! The suspense in the title is killing me.

Bloodborne- PS4: Loved it, very challenging game. Played over 40 hours, still have to beat the final chalice dungeon boss to get the platinum trophy. I hated how I sucked in the beginning, loved the challenge though, and it kept me playing. Recommended for anyone that likes a challenge. Though, it's only very hard in the beginning.

Witcher 3- ps4: I played almost 300 hours on the game, completed over 190 missions. Amazing game when it's working properly. I loved the story and how they made side missions just as grand as the main quest. I disliked how broken of a game it was. Crashed on me at least 3x a day, the worst was 12x in one day. Ran into several bugs, glitches and stupidity that should have never made it out of testing. In the end, I was royally screwed out of my ending, an ending I worked hard to achieve.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YonXNpomcDw. This video shows how I was screwed, the game throws important and already completed quests into the failed list. Thank you so much, CDPR.

I recommend to anyone that loves rpg and doesn't mind what ending they get.

Splatoon- Wii U: So far, I absolutely love this game. Best online multiplayer experience I've had in years. Which is the sole reason I bought the game: online multiplayer. The single player campaign is pretty fun as well. I've played about 30hrs so far. Still playing it every day. I recommend to anyone looking for a different online multiplayer experience. The game doesn't disappoint.

Blood borne PS4
Played for 80 hours plus, stopped playing because I couldn't find anyone online to help with the 4 the level chalice dungeon which I needed for my last trophy

FFX HD PS4
40 hrs stopped playing because I got annoyed trying to dodge lighting in the thunder plains for a trophy.

Dying Light PS4
20 hrs or so have been playing off and on only play while daughter is sleeping because it scares her.

Never saw the lasting appeal with destiny. List interest real quick.

Conception 2: Children of the Seven Stars for the 3DS. This game is surprisingly eating quite a slice of my gaming time. I beat the thing months ago, but I really want to complete all the stories. After all, who wouldn't try to finish a game that has a secret "harem ending"? XD

Nuzlocke Pokemon Platinum: Randomized Edition, for the DS (emulated on PC). After dozens of attempts of Nuzlocking Platinum and ALWAYS DYING AT THE SAME SPOT (Crasher Wake is an indiscriminate killer), I decided to relax and play a randomised version of Platinum. Just to see how weird the game is.

I think that's it. I'll try finishing Bravely Default and a couple of other titles when I'm done with those two. I want to complete BD before the sequel arives.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Splatoon: Looked different. Played 6 or 7 hours so far. Like the core gameplay, dislike the way map selection is handled. Recommend for anyone looking for TPS with a twist.

Final Fantasy X HD Remastered [PS4]: Wanted to play this game again, and came with X-2 which I haven't played before. Put in about 15 hours so far. I like the combat system, dislike that you can't see enemies on the field. Would recommend to anyone interested in a classic JRPG.

Driveclub [PS4]: Wanted a racing game, and this seemed similar to PGR, which I loved. Not sure how many hours I have put in to it, must be at least 30. I like the handling model that sits somewhere between sim and arcade. The only dislike have is that since the weather update, Evo have used too much of it. Sometimes I just want to do a race that is dry the whole time. Recommend to people who like racing games, but not sims.
