Yeah, it's pretty obvious that Playstation and consoles in general for that matter is the place to be if you want the "majority of current" JRPG's.
Is the line up of japanese games for the ps4 more impressive than on the ps3? | |||
| Yes. | 91 | 72.22% | |
| No. | 35 | 27.78% | |

See, this right here is what really puts to rest any notion that any PlayStation "has no games". I know "no games" actually means "no games that appeal to me", but the PlayStation ecosystem is about diversity and getting games from everywhere. The same can't be said about any of its competition. Even if an exclusive appears on another console, an "equivalent" will be on PlayStation (by that, I mean, just look at the reactions to SFV: "we don't need that. We have Killer Instinct") whether it be multiplatform or exclusive, but PlayStation also gets these Japanese games, and there is no "equivalent" for other platforms.
So the "no games that appeal to me" argument is kinda bunk, when you think about it. PlayStation always has games of the same appeal people give to other platforms and then gets games where no "equivalent" appears on the competition. Simple logic tells you that PlayStation "has games", no matter what angle you look at it from.

bolded the ones I know I'll be getting, Japanese games FTW
also.. Hyperdimension Neptunia V-II
I want more people to know about and buy Nobunaga's Ambition so they'll keep bringing them over.
The name refers to the ambition of Nobunaga Oda to unify Japan during the Warring States period, when different warlords controlled different areas of Japan. The series has been around for 30 years and I was a big fan when I was a kid.
Basically, it's a grand strategy type game, kind of like Civilization. You take control of a warlord and clan from that time and during your turn you try to use your resources to to build up your area, form alliances, and wage war. Other warlords are doing the same. You can even issue commands to your teams of ninja!

All hail PS4 JRPG, damn i am so exited, hope Yakuza 0 coming to NA or Europe
