I 100 percent agree, the music and direction was pretty well done, as well as some of the acting...but the story would only scare people who are afraid of people following them. It's Niche that way like all of horror. And tbh Horror is my favorite genre.
They could have done so much more...it's overrated but not horrible either.

You're Next was more fun.

There aren't many. Doesn't mean It Follows isn't bad.

But it isn't. I fail to see what exactly makes It Follows a bad movie. Most of the people I hear complain about the pace, being too slow, and a lackluster ending. Even if that were true, it wouldn't suffice for it to be called bad. It has great cinematography, good sound editing, good acting for a horror movie. I think people just call it bad because they were expecting another Sinister.
