If you don't love Vivi then you must be dead inside, or something. He's just so great. So is Steiner in that comic relief fashion as well. And aye aye sir, shall do!

It's a bit off topic though, so message me on my wall XD

Using attack and healing with potions. Literally. Oh, and summoning meat shields to block their limit breaks. Such a complex strategy. Heck, I beated the three dark magus sisters at the same time that way I had to reload a lot to not get ambushed.

The medieval setting and music weren't just good on their own, but they established a theme in the game that slowly gets broken down once the sciencefiction elements of the story were revealed. That shift made the story a lot stronger imo.

Ok, no dark aeons or penance. Otherwise I'd have expected you to mention more of a challenge. Or grinding/ yojimbo
You need to check your definition for "superbosses". Neither Anima nor Ultima are superbosses. In fact Ultima is a pushover in every single FF game. Talk to me when you beat all the dark Aeons.
Of course it's too easy if you avoid the hard and annoying stuff. Every FF is.
When it comes to 100%ing a game FFX is the longest and hardest one to achieve. Which is pretty much the only thing it has going for itself. And you just put it off like that :P
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
Nice review, glad you enjoyed it!
Will be interesting to see how you like 10-2.
Most ppl really dislike it. I i find it OK (though I never finished it on PS/2, maybe will try to finish it on ps/4)
Personally I rate the Music in FF X higher than you but to each his own :)
On a side note, has anyone here played Tactics? War of the Lions just came out for Android and I hear the mobile version gets rid of the slowdown from the PSP release but still keeps the improved translation. I'm wondering what the best version to play the game would be (PS1 vs. PSP vs. iOS/Android).

The battle system in FFX is more strategic than the fast paced battle system in FFX-2. You're going to often find that the best strategy in most battles is simply choosing the appropriate dressphere (class) and pressing the x button continuously. Don't grind too much for AP because that could potentially make the game too easy for you very quickly.
And don't play it immediately after finishing FFX. Each game in the series is full of tragedy and Cheese, FFX-2 is mostly full of the latter. So let's just say that you don't want to meet your tragic heroes again on calm and peaceful times just as soon as they finished their epic quest.
