ISO predicted <60k for this week. Unless you're talking about the COMG points (35% drop)?

Sorry, directed you to the wrong one.  That was just a prediction.

It received another 86 points from COMG in the second week and it's point to sale ratio was much better than the 1:1000 average suggesting it probably sold around 100k in the second week.

You're going to be disappointed if you think Splatoon will hold a weekly ratio of 1:1000 or greater.

COD also sold 600k and 500k on ps3. I doubt splatoon can get to 600k but it's possible. I guess it depends on how much demand really was week 1 because of the sellout.

According to COMG, the ratio point-sales, is bigger than 1:1,000.

Splatoon second week: 86pt in COMG.

So, seem Splatoon >86k in the second week.

600k lifetime is easy. 1 million can be hard.

I think that'll mostly come down to how picky you are in what you do and don't call a shooter. I'm personally of the opinion that any game that offers the qualities of a shooter can be considered one (regardless to if it's the games focus), but that's a no more or less valid way of doing things than the reverse. The latter obviously boosts Splatoon's chances considerably, but i'd say its chances are high in either context.

So somehow the ratio of COMG sales to the rest of Japan will become greater post launch?

How does that work?

The usual range to expect for weekly COMG to weekly sales is 1:400-600. Splatoon was only so high because they sold out of their copies. Whenever stock is more normalized, the formula works better.
