Really, I did. you're a mushroom running around? It just sounded like a very kid friendly platformer. The kind of game that's made specifically for parents to buy for their kids.
But IGN just did a preview on it and well... It actually looks like it might be a deep and... mature outing. The humour is dark, and instead of beating up cartoony enemies, you get to kill realistic rabbits. It's this kind of animal cruelty simulator that Jack Thompson will blame the next zoo shooting on.

IGN says this about it:
Mushroom Men definitely has a sinister sense of humor, but it should end up with an E10+ rating. None of the rabbit deaths were shown. Instead, the camera would cut away to show the mutated vines as onlookers.
But still, dark. I like it. This might actually be a pretty cool game.
