Same here. I only go digital if necessary (read: no physical version readily available) and reasonably priced.
Until digital prices get better, it won't make discs go away.
Digital game prices have improved over the years but the vast majority of games are still a lot cheaper on disc and even cheaper second hand.
PC gaming is now mostly digital because the digital pricing is very competitive. Companies should follow suit on consoles. Afterall is costs less to get a game to the customer digitally.

As long as I have the option to resell the game, I will always choose phisical over digital. In fact, I haven't bought a single digital game at full price, my digital games comes from huge discount.
I only ever buy a digital game if there is not physical counterpart. Not being able to hold the game physically makes it seem as if it doesn't really exist or I don't really own it.
It's a trend that is likely to die some day, but until then I'd rather buy physical and have the hassle of changing discs. Besides, cover art is nice to look at (not for all games, granted) and it's a way of filling shelves and take visual note of your hobbie.
I've been buying most everything digital this gen. I'm pretty happy with it, much less clutter. Although... I really wish I could trade in a couple games that I ended up hating...
With HDD's getting cheaper and with more space I find Digital to be beneficial for me over physical, that and the digital pricing is much cheaper and the download doesn't take as long compared to finding the physical game on PC in GAME which is super rare these days (most games went digital anyway so hardly much picking of PC physicals) along with the physical not being that much cheaper than digital let alone Steam sales and sales from the other clients.
That said I prefer physical for my 3DS because I like the little cartridges but I've also downloaded a few games that aren't sold physically, It'll probably be the same when I get a Wii U.
Only time I dislike physical is when the disk gets scratched, sells for less and takes up physical space and becomes a hassle to move in the future.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
I will always buy a physical copy when it's available. I can't trade a digital version of the game for a different game at GameTZ, when i'm done with it, like i do with my physical copies.

Do people really believe physical is staying? LOL give it 10 - 15 years and it will be over.
