Well Nintendo can't ship what retailers won't take. It seems many retailers overestimated XCX and then turned around and underestimated Splatoon. Hopefully the stock gets up and keeps up.

The demand was clearly there.

Edit: Also amazing amiibo sales! That means 2/3 people who picked up the game also picked up the triple pack.

If there was a supply shortage, hopefully that means the digital sales were high, but I guess we won't know about the digital sales anytime soon...

I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.
