This is great and all, but it still requires a jailbreak for it to work and an imported copy.
Alternatively, you could get the game on 360 for an awful lot less and perfectly legally. Is there any major differences between the versions?

Already beat and own the 360 version wouldn't jailbreak a PS3 to replay it.

Plus with the 360 you don't even have to hunt down a new or used copy of the game since you can buy it digitally. Although the best option is probably to buy a physical new copy from Amazon for $22 dollars.
That's cool, but I don't have a jailbroke PS3. I figure this game is never going to be localized, so I'll likely pick up a copy here later on. Ugh, disappointed in Bamco.

The PS3 version has a sh#t ton of extra content including completely new characters like Patty Fleur and new playable characters as well like Flynn plus the game also features several unplayable characters from Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike, which the game ties-in with, in other words there is also extra story content there that is only available on the PS3 version.
personally when i play a game, i want to play the complete version especially if there is a complete edition arround, (hence why i waited for the GOTY edition of TLOU because i knew there was gonna be story DLC), and knowing the PS3 version not only has extra story but also completely new playable characters (among other additions) is the reason why i want to play that version, and im sure its the same case with those doing the extra work to play this on the PS3, i mean the fans wouldnt have put so much WORK and dedication into translating this if there wasnt some actual reasons (which i already mentioned) to play the PS3 version.

Meh, still not worth aquiring a jailbroken PS3 and a imported copy of the game for it. I also didn't bother to rebuy Eternal Sonata on the PS3 even though it has extra content also. Probably would have if they would have bothered enough to add throphies to the game on top of the extra content.
| Soriku said: Yeah too bad you need a Cfw PS3 to play it :/ So I hope they remaster it for PS4. |
Maybe they'll do that for its 10th anniversary in 2018...let's hope. I haven't played Vesperia because it's 360 exclusive and I'm not getting a 360 for a single game. I'd be excited for the fan translation of the ps3 version but I don't want to go through the chore of hacking my ps3 and importing.

im not trying to convince you to play the PS3 version, im just explaining why other people bothered so much into translating the game and being able to play the PS3 version, for them it for sure was worth it or else they wouldnt have put so much time and effort into doing so much translation work, and it sure is worth it for the fans like anfebious who are playing the game whith the translation.

Oh god that would be so good.
