PS4.

This thread was more split than I thought it would be. Right now, it is looking like getting a pre-owned PS3 is the best choice, then later getting a PS4. That way, having both the PS3 and PS4 wont have to feel like an unneeded investment in the future.
I'm still open for more suggestions, though.
I'd get the PS3 if i were you there really isn't any "Must Have" games on PS4 yet to outweigh the library of the PS3.

Well, the point was more of me wondering if the PS4 will have access to most of the PS3 games that I would want to play in the future.
Wait after E3. The PS3 would probably get a price cut. There are also rumors of PS4 price cut/PS4 slim announcement.

PS4 will eventualy have acces to them through PS now but there is alot of games to add and in which order is unknown and would cost $20 a month for access, I imagine Jrpg's could be some of the last added to US PS now as there more niche and a PS3 itself would give you such a large library. Make the jump to the PS4 for next holiday when there will likely be a few big games you fancy.
Oh and as Teeqoz mentioned earlier get Wipeout HD :P
I say PS4. The reality is you will never get time to play all of the PS3 games that interest you and the majority of great ones are coming to PS4 as remasters or have upcoming sequels which you can jump right into. I guess it depends on what PS3 games you want.
The Last of Us
Journey
Uncharted Trilogy
God of War 3
Persona 5
Metal Gear Solid 5
Mass Effect Trilogy (strongly rumoured)
FFXV
Fallout 4
What games do you want to play on PS3? if there are only a few that aren't available on PS4 or that have upcoming replacements (COD/AC/Fifa etc), maybe just stream them via PS Now if they're on there.
Got a PS3 recently.
My starting games are Uncharted (up to 3), Infamous and Infamous 2, God of War Collection, Disgaea, and Little Big Planet. (Got it all for ~$55)
Planning on getting more later.
