what router do you use to play Nintendo games online? I have a telia thomson gateway and I don't know if it is the problem or something els as I have had a hard time playing online. So I'm wondering if any of you guys here in Sweden use other routers and don't have problems getting onling without constant errors 

If you can; change it, Thomson is nothing but trouble. I would recommend Cisco myself, stable, fast and durable stuff. Is this the standard router that they "rent out" with the subscription?
I had a Thomson router a few years back, that Canal Digital (Telenor rents out their bandwidth to them in Norway), had huge issues for a year, convinced Telenor to send me a Cisco instead, problem solved.

Ah cool glad that Thomson is the problem. I just checked their products and they don't seem to be using Thomson anymore. I'll check out Cisco. Might I ask what model you use?

I think I had an 800 series, can't remember exactly which one (this was about two years ago now). I'm currently using the Netgear router that Tele 2 supplies with my connection; been working great as well!

Thomson routers (and modems) are notorious for their issues, my parents had issues with their Thomson modem a couple of years ago 8and switched to Cisco as well).

well im a hardcore nintendo fan who lives in sweden, and i use zyxel, if thats what you mean, it works mostly just fine , very good. 

I use a router from NETGEAR and it has worked perfectly. Haven't encountered any problems with it-
Oh and I didn't know there were any swedes around here on VGC =p

I'm a fake Swede, I'm actually from Norway. Moved to Stockholm in 2013, not going back.

Most people don't notice though since I have no accent.
