Man of Action Entertainment, the studio known for series like Deadpool, Uncanny X-Men, and Ben 10, and Dentsu Entertainment USA are partnering together to make an animated series based off of Capcom's iconic character, Mega Man.

There are 26 episodes planned to be released around 2017, to coincide with Mega Man's 30th anniversary.

The funny thing is, finishing Megaman Legends 3 would probably be cheaper, make fans happier and be all around more profitable. But no, new cartoon it is.

Maybe just maybe if we are really lucky, they are working on a game to launch along side the show. Butttttt I'm probably asking for too much.

Yeah but i still have such good memories of megaman. Its the first series I've ever played. Its also one of my favorites. I just hope to see a megaman game that is new eventually. Until then, mighty no. 9 in September will have to do. I got it already preordered on Amazon for my ps4 :)

Cool. But if we get a tie-in game that compares to Sonic Boom then Capcom deserves to go bankrupt.

To be fair, if capcom wanted to make a new game, their own dev studio would do it. In the case of a cartoon, they were probably approached by an existing studio and all capcom had to do was say yes.

Honestly, this is much better than nothing at all. Not to mention this will be done by the same guys that did Ben 10 which was great.
