Harvest Moon is a series which, to me, has always looked interesting on the surface but hasn't been approachable enough to warrant a purchase. This seems cool enough but could someone explain briefly what the "hook" of these games are?

Will be watching for this at E3 for sure.

Hopefully the smartphone version is different from the WiiU/PC version.

I wish there were pics of it at least. A new Harvest Moon sounds exciting, but I am still concerned it won`t be that good of a game...

the last one i played was Tale of Two Towns (would still recommend) and i feel like that was the last good one they made. hopefully this one is good. i want a return to traditional mechanics, or at least close to the feel of ToTT. i also really hope they drastically expand the amount of livestock you can raise.

I'm not going to get my hopes up though, the last few HM games haven't interested me to warrant a purchase and I moved onto Animal Crossing back in 2013 when I gave NL a go for the first time, the oldest titles of HM I still love playing are Friends of Mineral Town and the original HM, if this upcoming one sucks then I guess I'll stick with AC and download FoMT/HM on the 3DS eshop instead.

Maybe the franchise will be good again! I did enjoy the SNES version and a Wonderfull Life.

Hopefully the mobile game is a different version altogether,and Wii U and PC exceed expectations. We'll just have to wait until E3.
