Forums - General - Any Metallica fans in the house?

Master Of Puppets is a masterpiece, one of the best records ever made and my favourite of them all. Ride the Lightning is also excellent, and I've been warming up to Kill'em All and ...And Justice For All again. The Black album has it's moments, and I won't say anything bad about it overall, it just does not reach the same depths than the previous albums. Having heard a coupel of songs from St. Anger I usually just try to forget that it is a Metallica -album. It's not that bad, certainly better than most of the stuff that gets airtime nowadays, but it's not very good either. I would love to hear real songs again from them.

I used to like Metallica until I saw them live in 2005, they are the most unproffesional band I have ever seen live, it was like a pub band playing to 100,000 people, crap.

anyway I love thy MEGADETH the best band ever (after sabbath) which also explains why I don't like metallica

Huge Metallica fan here, been since the age of 12. I used to own all their albums and DVD's until my kid sister started "borrowing" them. Haven't gotten around to replacing them yet!
Fav album: And Justice For All, the era where garage trash and modern metal clashed with great results for them!

Take look at this thread please.

We discussed the issue with a collegue here and agreed that even if they had only made one album, having "No life 'till leather" as the opening phrase would have been enough to make them legends. Seriously.
